NTN – Important information for users before creating an NTN account / contacting the helpdesk
Your username Please provide your REAL first name and surname when creating an NTN account, as the name provided here will appear on your certificates on completion of the course(s).
Registration An email will be sent to you confirming your registration. Firewalls in your company/set up may result in this email being filtered as Spam and sent to your Junk/Trash folder. Please check these folders before contacting the helpdesk.
Courses not visible If you cannot see a course you have purchased or loaded onto your profile, please check the settings for your browser and ensure you have allowed Popups. If problems persist, please contact IT support within your organisation. If you are an individual contractor, please log a helpdesk ticket providing as much information as possible.
Purchasing a course, vouchers and requesting discounts If you are required to purchase a course for someone else in your organisation, please follow the process below:
Log on to your NTN account and click on the Purchase Vouchers link at the bottom of the screen. Complete the form, the details fields will be pre-populated with your account information and any fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory.
Please note, if you are a member company , you will need to request a discount code before purchasing voucher code otherwise you will pay full price for the course.
Using the drop down list select the course(s) you wish to buy the vouchers for, and then type in how many vouchers you need.
You will be given the option of Purchase Order or Purchase Online.
If you select Purchase Order, a message will be automatically sent to the help desk and NSAN will raise the invoice to be sent to the contact name on the helpdesk ticket.
If you select Purchase online, you will be taken to another screen where you can either pay full price (non-member) or enter a discount code (member), taking the discount from the final price and proceeding to payment. Payment is made via PayPal.
Triple Bar For some courses it is possible to purchase the assessment only, Triple Bar Existing Sites V2 is an example of this. If you require the learning and assessment materials, please purchase the FULL course, as screenshot below…
Certificates When logged in to your NTN profile, you can access your certificates to print or email from the Certificate icon on the right hand side of the screen. Please see screenshot below.
Forgotten password Please follow the link on screen [link] to reset your password. A temporary password will be sent to you via email, which you can then change [here] when you are logged into the NTN.
Receipts Please note, requests for receipts for courses purchased may take up to 48 hours to process and be provided.
